Sticker Patches: The Peel-and-Stick Fix for Stained Kids’ Clothes

If you've ever thrown away a perfectly good kids' T-shirt because of one blueberry stain, this one's for you.
Brooklyn startup New New Patch has just launched its first product, Sticker Patches, a washable peel-and-stick fabric patch that helps families cover stains and personalize kids' clothes in seconds.
The idea began with founder and Brooklyn mom of two, Prue, whose oldest son loved blueberries almost as much as he loved staining his shirts.
She searched for a washable solution that didn't require sewing or ironing. When she couldn't find one, she decided to invent it herself.
Three years, thousands of prototypes, countless trips to the laundromat, and welcoming a second baby later, Sticker Patches were born.
As Prue puts it:
"Every time I threw away one of my son's shirts, I'd think, 'There's nothing actually wrong with it.' It was still a perfectly good shirt. I just didn't have an easy way to save it. It was easier to throw it away and buy a new one."
That realization became the foundation of New New Patch.
New New Patch's mission is to help families keep what they already own in use. Parents don't need more kids' clothes. They need easier ways to save the perfectly good ones they already have.
Sticker Patches are washable peel-and-stick fabric patches that cover stains, personalize kids' clothes, and give old favorites a second life without sewing or ironing.
Food stains? Sticker Patch it.
Boring top? Sticker Patch it.
"That's so last year, Mom?" Sticker Patch it.
Looking ahead, Prue sees Sticker Patches as just the beginning.
"I'm interested in designing products that extend the useful life of the things families already own. Sticker Patches are our first step. I hope one day repair is built into the products families already buy, so keeping something in wear is just as easy as replacing it."
The launch collection includes four colorful Sticker Patch Sheets: Rainbow, Picnic, Space, and Pastel, and has come to life thanks to a talented community of parents. The artwork was created by Erika Lehmkuhl, the brand identity was designed by JJ Fecik, and the launch campaign was photographed by Emily Hlavac Green. Together, they helped bring New New Patch to life with the perspective of parents who understand the everyday challenge of keeping kids' clothes in wear. New New Patch is a business built by parents, for parents, and Prue is excited to see where it grows next.
